Volunteers serve under a career missionary and receive discipleship and mentoring on a weekly basis. Each new missionary (serving 2+years) receives a coach from WGM HQ and missionary mentor on location. They meet weekly and go through an intentional discipleship/mentor program. The WGM HQ Coach will help with fundraising, training, and encouragement. Missionaries do receive short-term groups and volunteers to assist in ministries. WGM Headquarters handles finances and transfers of funds to allow missionaries to and volunteers to focus 100 percent on ministry. We have counselors and pastors on staff available who travel regularly to different locations to minister to missionaries and volunteers. If needed, follow-up counseling is given either on site or after return. Each ministry location reports regularly to location leadership and WGM HQ leadership regarding praises, requests, and goals.
