Organization Description & Goals:

CIT is dedicated to providing pre-field and debrief training for cross-cultural workers in a community-based environment. Facilitated by experienced, servant-minded, cross-cultural trainers, CIT offers an affordable yet intense six-week training program in culture and second language acquisition. Also offered is a one-week debrief retreat to help those returning to their passport country for short-term home assignment or returning definitively. Training is provided for individuals, couples, and entire families including specific teen and children's programs. Beyond traditional intercultural training, CIT focuses heavily on providing the atmosphere and guidance necessary to create the heart of a servant by understanding and applying our riches in Christ which leads to personal renewal and ongoing transformation.
