Doctrinal Statement:

1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible and authoritative Word of God. 2. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in the three persons: The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. 3. We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood and His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His tangible return in power and glory. 4. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. 5. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life. 6. We believe in the resurrection of the body of the saved and lost — they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. 7. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Christ. (This doctrinal statement is taken from the doctrine statement of Youth For Christ and is consistent with other Bible based, evangelical, interdenominational organizations.)

Core Values:

Teen Missions is a pioneer of the concept of providing short-term missions trip experience for teens with confidence that as young people see the mission field first-hand they will see the pressing needs of the world. The first team went out in 1971 and since that time over 40,000 North American youth have assisted with a variety of evangelistic and building projects with over 200 established missions in over 110 countries. We exist to launch youth into lifetime missions involvement by training, discipling and mobilizing them to impact eternity around the world NOW. A large number of our alumni are in full-time Christian ministry serving the Lord worldwide as pastors, teachers, Christian authors and missionaries. This experience helps them mature and be more community minded.

Additional Information:

Teen Missions International is not only a short term mission trip organization but is also on the frontlines around the world training national youth in more than 24 countries. Teen Missions runs Bible & Work Training Centers preparing national long term missionaries who already know the local language and culture. Thousands of orphans are receiving basic care, livelyhood training and instruction in the Bible through our partner ministries (AIDS Orphans & Street Children and Motorcycle Sunday School Mission).
