Impact Ministries mission is to train Guatemalans for leadership by teaching Biblical principles in such a way that they become integrated in their lives and effect spiritual change in their society, and to impact North American Christians for world missions. Impact Ministries lives out its mission by building and operating the Vida Christian Schools, Medical Clinics, facilitating Short-Term Mission Team ministry, and supporting the growth and development of the Rio de Vida Church. There are over 1,500 students receiving a Christian education in the seven elementary schools, three junior high schools, one senior high school program. The teachers and support staff are personally involved in each child’s life, providing godly role models and helping them to know the Lord and become all He intends for them to be. Impact Ministries is involved in supporting the growth and development of the Rio de Vida Church in Tactic and the surrounding area. Sunday services are held in Tactic, Purulhá, and Mocohán having an average combined attendance of 550+. New believers live a life of testimony to the work the Lord is doing in their communities. Impact Ministries offers opportunities for North Americans to support Christian development through Child Sponsorship, Short-Term Missions, and several giving programs. Through the prayerful support of individuals in Canada and the USA, Impact Ministries is able to open up the Word of God to the precious people in Guatemala and present them with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.
